ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STUDIO VI/ CAPSTONE

As one of the emerging economies in Europe, there are several intentions in Turkey on technological, social or financial improvements related with international integration. National and international funds bounce new opportunities not only fostering the economic or technological improvement but also social and cultural integration. In this scope, it is aimed to design an agency facility that connects funds, angel investors, NGOs, local authorities, SMEs, start-ups, idea-developers, artists and citizens, in Istiklal Street, İstanbul. Students, based on their analyses on place and local/global issues, should define the concept of the intention of the agency that turns the current local and global challenges into sustainable opportunities for Europe and Turkey. The success of the proposal is related with how this agency foster new perspectives in local and global way and improve new economic, social, spatial and cultural collaborations.

With its administrative components, each design proposal should include:

· Co-working facilities

· Educational facilities (seminar/workshop spaces)

· Exhibition facilities (temporary/contemporary)

· Gathering space(s)/place(s)
